For over 7 years, I barely left my house.
Most days, I couldn’t even make it up the stairs without crashing.
Doctors told me it was anxiety. Friends thought I was lazy. Inside, I felt like I was dying — but no one had answers.
I was living in survival mode with ME/CFS, POTS, and a mess of unexplained symptoms. Pain, exhaustion, brain fog, insomnia — it was a revolving door of hell. If you’re reading this, I know you might be in that place too.
But I want to tell you something important: you can come back from this. I did. And I’ll share how.
The Lowest Point
I wasn’t just tired. I was unrecognisable.
- Housebound for over 7 years
- Crashing after the smallest effort — even a conversation
- Pain in every joint and muscle
- Doctors dismissing me, saying “it’s all in your head”
- Losing my identity, my relationships, my sense of self
I felt broken on every level — physically, emotionally, spiritually.
What I Tried (And Why It Didn’t Work)
Like many, I tried everything:
- Diets and detoxes
- Supplements and protocols
- Pacing perfectly
- Positive thinking, meditation, mindset work
Some helped a little. But nothing stuck. I always ended up back at square one, trapped in the cycle of crash and despair.
What no one told me back then: healing isn’t just about the body. It’s about the nervous system, trauma, suppressed emotions, and the ways we’ve learned to live in constant survival.
The Turning Point
It wasn’t one miracle supplement or doctor. It was a shift inside me:
I realised I couldn’t just “fix” my body while ignoring the patterns that kept me sick.
I began working on:
- Nervous system regulation (learning how to actually feel safe again)
- Emotional healing (facing grief, shame, and suppressed trauma)
- Rebuilding simple foundations — sleep, nutrition, gentle movement
- Letting go of the obsession with protocols and learning to trust my body
Step by step, I began to stabilise.
Then recover.
Then rebuild my life.
Building My Life Back
Recovery wasn’t overnight — but it was real. Over the course of a year:
- Energy slowly returned
- My body began to repair
- My mind calmed down
- I could do normal things again without crashing
- Hope came back
Most importantly: I felt like myself again. Not the broken version, but the person I was always meant to be.
Why I Created Sick, Tired & Ready to Heal
After years in the dark, I didn’t want others to waste the time I did. That’s why I built my course: Sick, Tired & Ready to Heal.
It’s everything I wish I had when I was housebound:
- A clear roadmap out of survival mode
- Tools for nervous system healing and emotional recovery
- Practical guidance for sleep, nutrition, and supplements
- Real stories, raw truth — no fluff, no fake promises

A Final Word If You’re Struggling
If you’re stuck in bed, housebound, or feeling like no one understands — please know you’re not broken. You’re not lazy. You’re not beyond repair.
Your body isn’t your enemy. It’s been protecting you.
And with the right tools, you can come back.
I’m living proof. And if I could rebuild from where I was, so can you.
